• Payment is due at the time of the session. Therapy sessions are $95.00

Consultations are $95.00 per hour and due at time of service.

• Please come on time. It’s YOUR session and I want you to get every minute of it. Most times I have another child coming right after so I may not be able to extend your time. Sessions are 50 minutes. I always reserve a few minutes at the end while I clean up for questions. I prefer discussions at the end rather than disrupting the session.

• I may give suggestions for “homework” each week. Progress is much more evident when practice happens even for a few minutes several times throughout the week.

• Please call ASAP if you cannot make your session. If I do not receive 24 hour notice (unless there is an emergency or illness, of course), I will have to charge for the session.

• Have your child dress in comfortable clothes. They will have a good workout so they need clothes that move and stretch with them. Shoes and socks are usually removed so that equipment and mats do not get dirty and they can work on balance reactions rather than rely on the shoes’ support. I may request sneakers once in a while if I want to do running outside for a future session. I would like adults to take off shoes as well.

• You are free to stay or to leave during your child’s session. Good points for staying: asking me questions, learning what to do at home, being a support for you child. I also have some resources you may like reading during the session. Good points for leaving: child is not tempted to be silly or show off, child is not distracted, child does not look to parent to “save” him from hard work, parent gets some respite. I have no waiting room but Fay Bainbridge Park is one mile north and a nice walk or drive. Bay Hay and Feed is two miles south with an espresso bar. Some parents even run to Safeway and back for a quick trip. If you have another child with you, there is the playground at Wilkes Elementary on Day and Madison.

• I have lots of resources and lots of handouts. I give them out a little at a time to not overwhelm anyone but if you want lots, let me know and I will hand them out more freely. You are welcome to borrow books or videotapes for 2-3 weeks.

• If your child is ill, please keep him or her home. They could use the rest rather than a workout. Plus I really don’t want to get sick.
